On July 27th, Subaru of Albany proudly hosted a community blood drive, in partnership with the American Red Cross, to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Our dealership has always been committed to giving back to the community and contributing to causes that matter. With the support of our staff and the incredible participation of community members, the blood drive turned out to be a resounding success.

Uniting for a Lifesaving Cause

The blood drive was a testament to the incredible power of community support and compassion. We witnessed people from all walks of life coming together with a common goal – to save lives through blood donation. The event garnered immense participation from our loyal customers, employees, and many individuals from the greater Corvallis community, all of whom generously donated their blood for those in need.

Numbers That Matter

The results of the blood drive were truly remarkable. On that day, we collected an impressive 20 units of blood, each of which has the potential to save up to three lives. This means that our collective efforts have the potential to impact the lives of over 60 individuals in need of life-saving blood transfusions. These numbers serve as a testament to the generosity and goodwill that our community possesses.

Celebrating Our Heroes

At Subaru of Albany, we believe in acknowledging the heroes in our community, and our blood drive allowed us to do just that. Each donor who participated in the blood drive played a crucial role in making it a success. We are especially proud to share that we had 7 first-time donors who bravely stepped forward to give the gift of life.

Exceeding Our Goals

Thanks to the overwhelming support and dedication of our community, we are thrilled to announce that we achieved 105.2% of our goal for the blood drive. This tremendous accomplishment is a testament to the compassion and commitment of everyone involved.

A Special Thanks to Our O Donors

We would like to extend a special thanks to the 13 donors with blood type O who selflessly stepped forward. Blood type O is in high demand and is often used in emergency situations. Your contribution is deeply valued and will undoubtedly make a significant difference in the lives of patients in need.
